Very well constructed, comfy comfy comfy and amazing to see recycling come to life this way. Good job Grounded people :)
Live the fabric, and the values of the company. The pair looks really nice and are comfy as well
I really like the look and feel of these shoes. I took them to Burning Man with me and they worked well and cleaned up nicely afterwards.
Only complaint is that if you aren’t wearing socks the top of the tongue rubs against your skin and leaves a mark and red spot so you can only wear them for a limited time without damaging your skin.
Bought for my kids for back to school shoes after discussing sustainable fashion. Starting get more involved in more sustainable clothing.
The shoes are great! I used to wear converse consistently but have found this to be more sturdy around my ankle. Been wearing them for about a week and they do hurt a little bit in certain spots of my foot but it feels generally like how breaking in a new shoe feels and expect it to go away. Overall I do love the look behind this shoe and that it is a sustainable option that seems like they will last me a good long while!
Incredible shoes! The toe box could be a bit wider or more squared out than pointed.. There will definitely be more Grounded People shoes in my future.. smiles
They are VERY narrow, I even got a half size up from my normal size and it still doesn't fit because of how narrow they are made.
Only downside is that the laces aren’t long enough and come out of the high-top loops very easily. Frustrating when you’re trying to do up your laces! Will have to buy a different pair of longer and less finicky laces. Otherwise they fit very well and are super comfortable :-)
Love the look of the Poppy. Like the name suggests it’s red and stands out. Love pairing it with muted colours and loud floral patterns!
