Rainbow Refugee - Helping LGBTQ+ Refugees Resettle In Canada

Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee promotes safe, equitable migration and communities of belonging for people fleeing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status.

Rainbow Refugee provides support, information, and system navigation to refugees and refugee claimants seeking refugee status in Canada. They manage the Rainbow Refugee Assistant Partnership, allowing them to sponsor refugees privately in collaboration with other LGBTQI+ organizations in the Rainbow Coalition for Refuge.

Very nice shoes, but sizing off..

I really liked the look and concept behind these shoes, so took a chance and ordered the 'Geranium' pair. I was hesitant, as no half sizes available, and I am a solid 8.5. After much deliberating I took the suggestion of ordering a half size up and went for 9. Was hoping to take them on a trip where I would be walking and could test them out! They arrived about 15 minutes before I left, and looked great - as did the charity laces. Unfortunately, they were way too big! Even with a cushioned insert, my feet were loose in the shoe. I definitely didn't have time to box up and send back, so decided to gift them to my sister. Would love to order the 8, as I really like the shoes, but am hesitant...
